I Won't Keep You Here
Released 2011

I Won't Keep You Here is a collection of 11 songs that share a common thread. These songs all take place in a dream-world--there are literal wolves, figurative wolves, bones, souls, love, and things we try to reach but can never...quite...get that bind these songs together.

From the first plucked strings to the last moment of silence, I Won't Keep You Here is an ode to what it is to be human: sad and hopeful, melancholy and sweet.

Songs from our second release, I Won't Keep You Here.

Orange Sky (3:32) A bit of a prologue to the rest of the album, the luscious violin symphony in this song is achieved in performances by live looping violin tracks with a Boss Loop Station.

Keep an eye out for the Orange Sky video, we should be done with it soon!
Winterkill (4:02) This has become one of our album favorites over time, the contrast of the opening serenity against the crashing close still feels like a journey every time.

Consider the Bear
Released 2009

This decidedly wintery album was recorded in the scorching heat of an unusually warm Seattle summer.

Predominantly recorded over 3 days in July, Ian, Jon and Katie spent many hours sequestered in a hallway, studio chamber, and vault respectively in an effort to capture the vivid and temperamental nature of their live performance.

The resulting collection is dynamic and varied, sad and hopeful. Take a listen and consider what you will. We, however, suggest bears.

Songs from the band's first release, Consider the Bear.

Equation (4:24) Years after recording it, this one is still amongst our favorites. There's just something wickedly cool about pairing a violin and a Space Echo.
Northern Lights (4:36) This song was written later in the arc of the album and marked a change in Ian's songwriting. Unbeknownst to us at the time, it was the first of many to come featuring wolves as central characters.
